ATHONET PRIVATE LTE AND 5G CORE ARCHITECTURE

The Athonet Connectivity Platform Architecture for Private LTE and 5G comprises two components: the Edge Node and the Control Center. The Edge Node and Control Center implement the mobile network infrastructure (click here for more details) required to implement a Private LTE network, Private 5G network (click here for an introduction to Private LTE/5G) and Communication Service Provider network. The Edge Node can be optimally deployed at the network edge and handles all traffic forwarding functions. This allows customers to easily build Mobile Edge Computing into their networks. For a document describing MEC click here. The Edge Node can auto-bootstrap and auto-configure, lowering deployment costs, operational costs and speeding up deployment. The ACP can be Hybrid On-site (Hybrid Cloud), Fully On-site or fully Cloud-based.
